A mother and a father who had to migrate to Germany as a political migrant after the coup try to heal their wounds, and a little boy left to his grandfather. This impressive novel expresses the distress and trauma experienced in Turkey from September 12, 1980 till present.
Scent of Shadows was selected in Fethi Naci’s “100 Novels of the century” anthology and adapted to the movie “The September Storm” by Atıf Yılmaz.
